94 Points & "Highly Recommended" - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Intense, with fig, blackberry and plum compote flavors rolling over one another, while worn leather, Turkish coffee and well-roasted mesquite notes form a ring around them. Overall this is rich and dense, yet there's definition throughout. Only needs time to knit fully before delivering its peak experience. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2020 through 2035. 3,000 cases made." – JM (Feb 28, 2018)

97 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This delivers a lush, enticing blast of cassis and raspberry and boysenberry preserve flavors, carried by a silky structure that lets the fruit play out at length, giving adequate time for black tea, singed apple wood, dried anise and fruitcake notes to fill in throughout. Dreamy. Grenache. Best from 2020 through 2040. 600 cases made." ÐJM (February 2018)

Foxen "7200 Range 30 West" Red Blend 2014 (Santa Barbara, California) - [WE 91]
91 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"There is deep blackberry but also a savory beef element on the nose of this blend of 61% Cabernet Franc and 39% Merlot, as well as graphite and dried herb touches. The acidity on the sip is nearly searing, and the tannic tension is formidable, ensuring decent age-worthiness. Dary berries are the primary flavors."

"An impressive barrel sample, the 2014 Bandol Cuvee Classique shows surprising depth and concentration in the vintage. Notes of dark fruits, mineral and peppery, Provencal herbs all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, elegant 2014 that should drink reasonably well on release." - Jeb Dunnuck (Apr 20th, 2016th)

Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge "Cuvee Classique" 2016 (Bandol, France)
CASE PRICE = $43.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Tempier's 2016 Bandol Cuvee Classique was the only red I had a chance to taste from this historic domaine. A Mourvèdre-dominated wine (70% to 75%, depending on the vintage) blended from several vineyards and aged in foudres, it shows some leathery scents alongside vibrant purple fruit. In the mouth, it's medium to full-bodied, marked by almost painful acids, while the tannins are ripe and supple. I'd suggest decanting it a couple of hours ahead of serving if you decide to broach a bottle in the near term." - Joe Czerwinski (16th May 2019)

97 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This offers a range of sage, savory and bay leaf aromas followed by crushed black cherry, bitter plum and red currant fruit, all supported by racy, mouthwatering chalky cut. Dense, but fresh and well-defined throughout. Long finish." - JM (Aug 2018)

Le Vieux Donjon Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2015 (Southern Rhone, France) - [WS 95] [JD 95] [ST 93-95] [RP 93]

93-95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape is a classic blend of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault, mostly from rolled stone terroirs, that was partially destemmed and will see 15 months all in foudre. It boasts a deep ruby/purple color as well as full-bodied richness, sweet tannin and textbook Southern Rhône notes of cured meats, toasted spice, garrigue and ample red and black fruits. It will have two decades or more of prime drinking." - Jeb Dunnuck (Oct 2016)
