96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Cabernet Franc Howell Mountain has a very deep purple-black color, revealing a drop dead gorgeous perfume of red roses, violets and black tea over a core of kirsch, red currants and black raspberries, with wafts of cinnamon stick and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, very finely textured and refreshing in the mouth, it offers wonderful perfumed red fruit layers and a long, mineral-laced finish. 522 cases produced." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Dec 2017)

91 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"Mostly Merlot blended with 14% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Arbalest was brought up 16 months in tank and 30% new oak. It offers a perfumed, gorgeous bouquet of plums, incense, spice and hints of forest floor. Full-bodied, ripe and rounded, with a sexy, opulent style, lots of mid-palate depth, and a great finish, it's well worth your time and money and is a smoking deal at 20 bucks. This wine comes from a collaboration between winemaker Benoit Touquette and importer/distributor Kimberly Jones." (12/29/17)

98+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Their flagship wine, the 2013 Proprietary Red Dancing Hares is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The color is a saturated ruby/purple, the nose sightly more restrained than the Mad Hatter, but intense, deep and promising. The wine is extremely full-bodied, with notes of chocolate, espresso, crème de cassis, licorice and blackberry, this has killer intensity, super full-bodied richness, but is relatively light on its feet for this kind of mass and richness. This is a fabulous wine and certainly a great 2013, which is saying something in a vintage that is this incredible. Drink it over the next 15-20 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 2015)

Notes from the Winemaker (2014 vintage):
The 2014 Mad Hatter is a fitting part of a continuum of quality. It is an integrated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (68%), Cabernet Franc (19%), Petite Verdot (9%), Syrah (3%) and Malbec (1%). It has aromas of ripe red cherries, blackberries, seasoned with brown baking spices and a hint of juniper, all grounded by notes of freshly tilled soil. True to form, the wine has a soft approach, full body and elegant finish. The palate is dense and earthy, with flavors of red and blackcurrant, blackberry and lavender. A hint of dark chocolate and licorice extend through a long, soft finish.

94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Proprietary Red Wine is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec, again, showing slightly less depth than its two surrounding siblings, but beautiful pure fruit, silky, velvety tannins, a layered mouthfeel and deep blackcurrant and black cherry fruit intermixed with cedar wood, fruitcake and smoky oak. This is a terrific wine as well and it will be the fastest out of the gate in terms of evolution – drinking beautifully for the next 15+ years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (30th Dec 2016)

Notes from the Winemaker:
"Our 2013 Cabernet Franc has a purplish hue with aromatics in the huckleberry and blueberry jam range. Fruit loaded on the palate with a typical Cabernet Franc flavor profile. The mid-palate has nice fatness from a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. It has mouth coating moderate tannins with a soft finish. Will benefit from further aging but can be easily enjoyed upon release."

94+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"
From winemaker Andy Erickson, the 2016 Leviathan is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot aged in 25% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with exuberant black cherries, black raspberries and blackcurrants with hints of pencil shavings, black pepper, tobacco and forest floor plus a waft of tapenade. Full, firm and grainy, with gorgeous mid-palate generosity and packed with layers of black fruit and savory sparks, it has a rock-solid frame of ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long. Approachable now yet structured to cellar, this seriously affordable, serious California blend should age 15-20 years or more. About 8,000 cases available." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Dec 2018)
