91 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"There is deep blackberry but also a savory beef element on the nose of this blend of 61% Cabernet Franc and 39% Merlot, as well as graphite and dried herb touches. The acidity on the sip is nearly searing, and the tannic tension is formidable, ensuring decent age-worthiness. Dary berries are the primary flavors."

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"One of the best values I've tasted in a long time, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from the team at K Vintners was hand-harvested, natively fermented and aged all in French oak. Smoking good notes of cassis, black currants and hints of plum all emerge from this rich, beautifully textured, layered beauty that has solid tannic grip, a silky, elegant texture and a great finish. It has real elegance and finesse and is a dark fruited, unctuous beauty to drink over the coming 3-4 years."

94-96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The new 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Powerline is a new cuvee based around a vineyard in the southern part of Walla Walla. Harvested from tiny yields and aged in mostly neutral barrels, this full-bodied, luxuriously textured, seamless beauty gives up lots of classic Cabernet notes of creme de cassis, licorice, toasted spice and graphite. There's an undeniably sexy style here, and while it will certainly be approachable on release, my money's on it evolving gracefully for 15-20 years. These latest releases from Charles Smith check in at the top of the pyramid and are flat out incredible wines that I wish every reader could taste. Readers should also check out the new label, Wines of Substance, which are also included in this report. Going forward, the K Vintners label will be for the Rhone inspired blends, and all Bordeaux blends will be moved to the Wines of Substance label." (JD) (6/2016)

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This is 100% varietal, coming from the winery’s young estate vineyard. The aromas are bright, with notes of dried herb, cherry liqueur, anise, black tea and whole bell pepper, seeming ever so slightly dried out. The flavors are plump but still light on their feet, supported by surprisingly soft tannins for the variety."

98 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Dakota displays more blackberry, blueberry and graphite, with some flowers such as violets, notes of pen ink, a full-bodied, concentrated, succulent and fleshy mouthfeel, and a long, long finish. This is another 25- to 30-year wine." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Oct 2016)

93+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014s are 30-year wines, even in such a supple, easygoing and charming vintage. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Montana has an opaque purple color, a beautiful nose of graphite, creosote, incense, blackberry and licorice, and maybe a touch of charcoal and earth. The tannins are soft, and there is enormous fruit as well as a deep, full-bodied mouthfeel and some coffee in the finish. It should drink well for 25-30 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Oct 2016)

94 Points - James Suckling:
"This is a fragrant and gritty Pingus with a ton of tannins which give it a lot of depth and length. This wine deserves some patience. It needs two or three years more of bottle age to be at its best, but should keep for some years following." - (Jul 2017)

96 Points - Connoisseurs Guide:
***Three Stars*** Elegant and fruity at the same time with a quick invitation from bright, pure cherryish notes and then filled out handsomely by whiffs of chalky soils and well-integrated, rich and uplifting yeast-driven scents, this wine manages to be both vigorous and layered at one and the same time. Its bubbles are insistent, finely carved and add to the early sensations of lightness and energy yet also carry the wine long into a balanced, refined finish. And its latter palate grip is exactly what one should expect from the genre. While service with light foods would be our first choice, this one has the beauty to stand alone. (12/2013)

92+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2013 Rabicano is a blend made of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Another winner from this winery, the wine has a dense bluish/purple to the rim, a big, sweet kiss of blueberry and blackberry fruit, toasty oak, a full-bodied mouthfeel, big chewy intensity and 2013's power, super-depth and purity well-displayed. Give this wine 3-4 years cellaring and drink it over the following two decades." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 2015)

90 Points #69 Top 100 of 2017 - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"A lithe, light-bodied white, with racy acidity and a subtle streak of mineral, layered with nectarine, melon and pink grapefruit pith flavors. This is well-knit, with a lingering, lightly spiced finish. Drink now through 2020. 9,000 cases made.” –AN (Nov 30, 2017)

91 Points - Antonio Galloni:
"Green-tinged straw. Vibrant, mineral-accented citrus and orchard fruit aromas are joined by a suave jasmine nuance as the wine stretches out. Lively orange, pear skin and nectarine flavors show very good depth as well as energy, courtesy of a firm spine of zesty minerality. The floral element repeats on a bright, sharply focused finish that leaves a dusty, minerally note behind."
