93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap District (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) has an opaque purple color and beautiful aromatics of macerated black cherries, black currants, licorice and incense. Medium to full-bodied, with zesty acids, sweet tannin and a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel, this is remarkably elegant but offers up terrific purity and personality. Drink it over the next 15-20 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 2016)

"Showing the quality of this vintage, the 2016 HG III is a big, opulent, incredibly sexy effort that boasts a deep purple color and terrific notes of black cherries, chocolate, dried flowers, and spice. Made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah (that’s the III of HG III), it’s one heck of a red blend and well worth seeking out. "

Notes from the Winemaker:
This marks the inaugural release of RLC, the third estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the Crocker Vineyard. “RLC” represents the soil types—rock, loam and clay – that are found throughout the estate vineyard. The wine is juicy and approachable with aromas of cherry, cola, dried herbs and clay and a long finish. It is a wine that is ready to drink or can age, and it is affordable for Napa Cab.

"A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, sourced mainly from Napa and Sonoma with a little Mendocino and Marin fruit, the 2014 Brut Rose has a very pale salmon-pink color and very pretty nose of faded roses, crushed raspberries and red currants with hints of spiced apples and lightly browned toast. The palate has a great intensity of red berry and toasty flavors with a lovely creaminess and plenty of zip to the finish." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Oct 2017)

95+ Points - Robert Parker:
“Time flies, and the 904 for sale is already the 2009 Gran Reserva 904, as they don’t bottle it in 2008…This super classical cute showcases the wines from Haro, silky and elegant after long aging… This is usually my favorite wine from the portfolio, where the balance between aging and youth reaches its highest point….The palate is polished but has some clout ,with clean, focused flavors and a long, spicy and tasty finish. This represents good value for the quality it delivers."

95 Points - Wine Spectator:
"This cuts more of a broad swath than its peers, yet remains graceful, evoking strawberry, cherry, tobacco and stony mineral flavors. Long and dense in structure, with a tobacco- and underbrush-tinged finish. Best from 2021 through 2033."

93 Points - James Suckling:
"The caramel and ripe fruit are impressive with some grilled meat too. Full body, firm and silky. A tight and exciting wine for the future. Drink in 2020."
