95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2010 Barolo Liste is utterly seductive and charming from start to long finish. This wine awards a high pleasure quota with the proverbial opulence and hedonistic plumpness that is not easy to achieve with the austere Nebbiolo grape. The Liste vineyard delivers the natural characteristics that are appropriate for dark and shapely wines. Thick extraction is followed by dark fruit, pressed blackberry, exotic spice, cola and balsam herb. It ages for two years in oak and two years in bottle, but it needs more time to lose its baby fat." -ML (6/2015)

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Damilano's 2011 Barolo Cannubi does a great job of presenting the specific qualities that are most commonly associated with this historic vineyard site. The wine shows elegance, grace and a feminine frame that is toned, lean and muscular. The Damilano family does not own land in Cannubi and in fact they rent their acreage for a monthly sum that must indeed be hefty. But Cannubi has grown in fame partly due to the dedicated efforts of this hardworking estate. The 2011 vintage shows warm tones of leather and tobacco with candied fruit, licorice, cola and dark blackberry. Sweet spice and delicate cinnamon appear on the long finish." -Monica Larner (Jun 2015)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The NV Extra-Dry Carte Blanche is based on the Brut Premier, but receives a higher dosage of 16 grams per liter. Even though the Carte Blanche naturally shows a bit more sweetness than the Brut Premier it also maintains considerable focus and energy. Here the expression of fruit tends towards brighter, more floral white fruits, green apples/pears. The wine’s balance and length are first rate. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015.

Roederer is one of my favorite Champagne houses. Every wine that emerges from this cellar in Reims is impeccable." -Antonio Galloni (Nov 2011)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot, shows much sweeter tannins, a dense purple color, loads of crme de cassis and vanilla, a medium to full body, attractive opulence, purity and length. This is outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 12-15 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (30th Dec 2015)

95 Points & Cellar Selection - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2014 Vintage):
"While the color of this wine is light, the intensity and the structure are not. It comes from 30-year-old vines, planted densely that gives the wine huge concentration. It is firm full of tannins that lie over the ripe fruit. As it develops, this wine will be sumptuous, ripe and impressive. Wait until 2023." - Roger Voss (12/31/2016)

Ratings & Reviews

94 Points - Antonio Galloni:

"The 2007 Barbaresco Sori Paitin Vecchie Vigne bursts onto the palate with explosive fruit and tons of depth. It is a rich opulent Barbaresco, but there appears to be plenty of underlying structure. Crushed flowers, spices, licorice, anise and tar are some of the notes that wrap around the intense, plush finish. Today the 2007 shows the exuberance of the year, but with further bottle age the more subtle aspects of the wine will emerge." - Antonio Galloni (October 2011)

93 Points - Stephen Tanzer:
"(bottled in August of 2011): Healthy medium red. Lovely high-pitched aromas of red cherry, rose petal, mint, minerals and blood orange make the 2008 version seem a bit flat on the nose. Suave, rich and generous but not thick, with terrific intensity and noteworthy complexity to its flavors of red fruits, spices, mint, earth and game. Nicely delineated wine thanks to harmonious acidity. Finishes with serious but ripe tannins that reach the incisors and a lingering spice character. (The tasting notes I offered on this wine two years ago suggested it was already in bottle, which of course was not the case. I liked the wine then, and it has turned out very well.)" - Stephen Tanzer (November 2011)

93 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
Starts out rich and round, boasting cherry and currant flavors, then firms up as more spice and eucalyptus notes show. The tannins offer grip as this cruises to a long finish. Balances power and elegance. Best from 2014 through 2028. 333 cases made." - BS (Apr 30, 2012)

)93 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"A deft but not invisible application of wood frames overtly spicy and ripe aromas of both red and dark currants along with a lovely floral hint. There is a seductive mouth feel to the notably plush medium weight plus flavors that possess plenty of sappy extract that does a fine job of buffering the firm tannic spine on the balanced and relatively powerful finish. While this beautiful effort will definitely require the better part of 12 to 15 years to be completely ready it should be approachable after only 7 or 8." - (Apr 15, 2016)

Superb. Blend made from 46% carmenere from Marchigue, 46% from Apalta and 8% petit verdot. Drink or hold." - (May 12th, 2016)
