Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The golden-yellow colored 2012 Vouvray Pétillant Brut shows a ripe and elegant fruit with nice chalky and lemony flavors on the nose. Medium-bodied and fresh, this is a creamy textured and very elegant sparkling wine with a very delicate mousse and a dry, persistent mineral finish with a stimulating grip." - Stephan Reinhardt (28th Oct 2016)

98+ Points - Antonio Galloni:
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a towering majestic wine. Rich, powerful and yet massively tannic, the 2013 possesses a stunning combination of super-ripe fruit, bright acids and plenty of supporting structure. In the early going, the Howell Mountain is a bit reticent, especially next to the Trailer, but after several hours, the vibrancy of the Howell Mountain bottling dazzles. Dunn's Howell Mountain Cabernet is without question one of the wines of the great 2013 vintage." - Antonio Galloni (September 2016)

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2011 Vintage):
"Elegantly structured, this opens with aromas of underbrush, red berry, tobacco and savory herb. The linear palate offers bright red berry, crushed strawberry, licorice and cooking spice, while firm, fine-grained tannins provide the framework. Drink through 2018." - Kerin O’Keefe (7/1/2015)

91-93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2013 Meursault 1er Cru les Perrieres has a bashful, reserved bouquet at the moment (the Genevrieres '13 is far more expressive), although it is delineated and focused with cold wet stone/marine notes loitering in the distance. The palate is very well balanced with a crisp line of acidity. Here, the propitious nature of the vineyard finally comes through and it is bridled with great energy and vivacity on the finish, with citrus peel, lemongrass and tangerine all lighting up the aftertaste. This deserves several years in bottle." - Neal Martin (29th Dec 2014)

The Kistler plantings on Sonoma Mountain, situated just shy of 1800' in elevation on a hillside bench perfectly suited for growing world class Chardonnay, are interlaced with the rare combination of red volcanic and fine grained chalky soils. These are east facing terraced vineyards, shadowed from the afternoon sun by giant redwoods. This is a remarkable marriage of site and orientation to the cooler trendings of the valley below. The vineyards are planted to California Heritage clones that we have selected for specifically over the last 30 years to ripen to our balanced wine standards. They are some of the oldest Chardonnay vineyards in Sonoma County. When coupled with the selections in the vineyard the textbook growing conditions afford a wine that is decidedly Sonoma Mountain in character. Annually some of our earliest vineyard pickings each year, this is a wine driven by a grounded, focused mineral core yet lifted by striking ethereal tones of vibrant light fruit raised at elevation. Produced since 1986, this is a wine with an intense sense of the mountain heritage of the delicate stone fruit that is lifted, like its McCrea cousin, yet firmer, and with a stronger core and added layers of richness.

)93 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"A deft but not invisible application of wood frames overtly spicy and ripe aromas of both red and dark currants along with a lovely floral hint. There is a seductive mouth feel to the notably plush medium weight plus flavors that possess plenty of sappy extract that does a fine job of buffering the firm tannic spine on the balanced and relatively powerful finish. While this beautiful effort will definitely require the better part of 12 to 15 years to be completely ready it should be approachable after only 7 or 8." - (Apr 15, 2016)

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"While there is plenty of toastiness here, this wine also has a pure and fruity character. It is aromatic, full of white flowers and garden perfumes. Complex with acidity, it also offers lemongrass and spice against a background that is textured, nervy and mineral. Drink from 2018." - Roger Voss (10/1/2015)
