92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"From the Castelnuovo Berardenga area of Chianti Classico where temperatures are always two or three degrees higher on average, the 2010 Chianti Classico Riserva sees fruit sourced form the estate’s Montebello vineyard n.7, one of the estate’s prized parcels. This vineyard-designate, 100% Sangiovese shows delicate layers of red berry, dried raspberry and soft layers of moist earth and tobacco. The elegance and finesse is stunning, as there’s nothing heavy or out of place with this wine. Neither is this a light or mild wine. It delivers plenty of power and personality both in terms of the quality of the fruit and the long freshness it leaves in the mouth. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020.” - Monica Larner (Aug 2013)

96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Made strictly according to the Sangiovese playbook, the Il Marroneto 2012 Brunello di Montalcino shows that exacting Sangiovese precision and personality. This is Alessandro Mori's greatest talent. He takes this workhorse grape and gives it a platform to articulate its most hidden and intricate inner feelings and sentiments. This is a bright and very tight red wine that will benefit from more years to flesh out further. All those budding aromas of wild berry, licorice, cola, and blue flower are strategically in place and ready to explode in time. The wine opens to a luminous dark ruby color and a compact mouthfeel that is spicy and fresh on the close. This is an impressive annata wine that shows the personal evolution of a man and his estate." - Monica Larner (28th Feb 2017)

98 Points & Cellar Selection - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Immensely inviting, this opens with fragrant pipe tobacco, crushed berry, new leather and pressed violet aromas. On the palate, firm, refined tannins underpin juicy black cherry, raspberry and cinnamon flavors, while orange zest accents and an energizing mineral note lift the finish. It's beautifully balanced with bright acidity and will reward a bit of cellaring. Drink 2020–2032." - Kerin O’Keefe (4/1/2017)

Love the nose on this with blackberries, sweet tobacco, blueberries. Full body, with soft and silky tannins and a light jammy finish. Lots of dark fruits. Long finish. Loads going on in this one. Give it three to five years. Or more.

"Enticing floral, wild berry, new leather and truffle aromas seemingly float out of the glass, growing darker with spice as the wine takes on air. The palate is elegant and still youthfully austere, offering Marasca cherry, crushed raspberry, clove and white pepper flavors, framed by firm, chewy tannins and vibrant acidity. A licorice note closes the lingering finish. Drink 2020–2035." - Kerin O’Keefe (4/1/2017)

92 Points - Antonio Galloni:
"The 2014 Poggio al Lupo (Cabernet Sauvignon) is another impressive wine from Sette Ponti, especially within the context of the vintage. Herb, rose petal and raspberry jam are some of the signatures. The 2014 is perhaps a touch slender, but it possesses notable freshness and aromatic nuance. I would give it a year or two to unwind." - Antonio Galloni (Nov 2016)
