92 Points - James Suckling:
"This is impressive from the outset with a wealth of white peaches and melon, as well as green mangoes and subtle hazelnut notes. The palate has a very long, fresh delivery of fine and open-knit peaches and lemons. Plush and open. Drinking well already. " - (25 Jan, 2019)

Allen Meadows' Burghound (2016 Vintage):
"A restrained and cool nose of various dark berries, newly turned earth and a whiff of the sauvage introduces less concentrated but once again attractively energetic flavors that culminate in a mildly austere and slightly dry finish." - (Apr 15, 2018)

94 Points - Decanter:
"Is Clos des Mouches better suited to red or white grapes? The answer is both in a vintage like 2017. This was picked in five stages to maximise balance and complexity and made with 25% stems and 30% new wood. It's not a blockbuster wine, prefering to charm rather than overwhelm the palate with elegance, refined tannins and spicy, wild strawberry and red cherry flavours." - (31 Oct 2018)

94 Points - James Suckling:
"Beautifully attractive, fresh red roses and violets with lighter red berries that meld into some sous-bois notes. The palate has a very assertive core with a plush, lithe and juicy edge that delivers a super fine, powerful and seamless impression. Corton in all its glory here! Try from 2022." - (25 Jan, 2019)

92 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"This is quite ripe though it stops short of being surmature with its nose of plum liqueur, mocha, black cherry and earth aromas. There is exceptionally good richness to the very suave and succulent medium weight flavors that are supported by phenolically mature tannins on the mouth coating finish. This is a big and overtly powerful wine yet it's not especially rustic or austere." (Apr 15, 2015)

90-92 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"A slightly riper and more complex nose offers up a mix of plum, violet and dark currant scents along with plenty of earth. There is excellent density to the vibrant, intense and muscular flavors that deliver fine length on the balanced finale. I like the complexity of this distinctly Pommard-like effort. Patience required." - (Apr 15, 2015)

91 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"Here the nose offers a notable step up in aromatic refinement with its cool and airy yet notably serious mix of various red berries, earth, tea and floral nuances. There is fine volume and excellent richness to the mouth coating and relatively powerful medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a dusty, persistent and mildly austere finale that is more structured still. The tannins are dense but fine and this should amply reward 10 to 15 years of cellaring." - (Apr 15, 2016)

92-94 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Bright ruby-red. Deep, ripe aromas of black cherry and chocolatey oak, plus a high-toned whiff of sherry. Then large-scaled and aromatic in the mouth, conveying stronger terroir personality than the foregoing wines. Complex and fine-grained, with a positive trace of bracing bitterness. Chewy, chocolatey, well-integrated tannins take over the entire mouth on the back end. This nuanced, fine-grained wine finishes with a trace of dried herbs and has the structure to age. The yield here was just eight hectoliters per hectare, according to estate manager Yves Confuron." - Stephen Tanzer (Jan 2018)

94 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Remarkably youthful ruby-red color. Inviting nose combines black cherry, raspberry and menthol, plus a suggestion of fruits macerated in alcohol. Very rich and very ripe, with flavors of black raspberry, black cherry, roasted coffee and chocolate given definition by harmonious acidity. Offers compelling sweetness and fullness without any heaviness. The wine's serious dusty tannins could still use a few more years to resolve but it's already showing the personality to offer pleasure with some time in a decanter. Winemaker Yves Confuron noted that "the only problem with Pommard is that it's normally austere when young." This one is developing splendidly." - Stephen Tanzer (Mar 2018)

92 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"This is very Pommard in character with a pungently earthy nose featuring underbrush, cassis, blueberry and raspberry aromas that are perhaps not quite as ripe as those of the Fremiers precede rich, full and mildly rustic big-bodied flavors of both muscle and power that coat the mouth on the long finish. There is a lot of dry extract here and the significant tannins are completely buffered. This is a serious Epenots built to age." (Apr 2009)
