92 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"This is quite ripe though it stops short of being surmature with its nose of plum liqueur, mocha, black cherry and earth aromas. There is exceptionally good richness to the very suave and succulent medium weight flavors that are supported by phenolically mature tannins on the mouth coating finish. This is a big and overtly powerful wine yet it's not especially rustic or austere." (Apr 15, 2015)

91 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"Here the nose offers a notable step up in aromatic refinement with its cool and airy yet notably serious mix of various red berries, earth, tea and floral nuances. There is fine volume and excellent richness to the mouth coating and relatively powerful medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a dusty, persistent and mildly austere finale that is more structured still. The tannins are dense but fine and this should amply reward 10 to 15 years of cellaring." - (Apr 15, 2016)

90 Points - Stephen Tanzer:
“Pale yellow. Aromas of lemon drop, pear and minerals show a strong overlay of oak char. Broad, tactile and nicely filled in, offering good intensity to its lemon, spicy oak and crushed stone flavors. At once juicy and rich, this wine finishes with very good spicy persistence and subtle stony minerality. Deeper and more vibrant than the Baudines, with more material to buffer its alcohol. And firmer on the back end.” (Sep 2017)

92 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This enticing white combines floral, stone fruit and citrus flavors with accents of spice. The rich texture is offset by lively acidity, leaving a long, lingering aftertaste of fruit and spice. Best from 2017 through 2024. 515 cases made." – BS (Apr 30, 2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2016 Bouzeron Village from Domaine Gagey has a light apple blossom and green apple-scented bouquet. The palate is fresh on the entry with a pleasant fatness in the mouth but the acidity keeps everything in check and there is a subtle spiciness on the finish. Fine." - Neal Martin (29th Dec 2017)

91-93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2016 Meursault Blagny 1er Cru has an understated bouquet at first that unwinds with subtle peppermint scents that complement the green apple and light kiwi fruit aromas. It feels delicate and never wants to grab your attention. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine line of acidity, one of Jobard's more saline wines in 2016, with very impressive control and density on the finish. You can feel this lingering in the mouth long after it has departed." - Neal Martin (Dec 2017)

91-93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2016 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes comes from two parcels, the lower one touched by frost, so that the production is a modest 15% down. It has a pleasant reduction on the nose, well defined however, with good intensity. The palate is very well balanced and is bestowed the richness one expects from this vineyard, counterbalanced by a saline thread that governs the second half. An interesting wine predestined for aging, this is one of the best wines from Antoine Jobard in 2016." - Neal Martin (Dec 2017)

88-90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2016 Meursault En La Barre was damaged 70% by the frost in this vintage. Nevertheless, it seems to shrug that off with a delightful bouquet with white flower aromas filtering though the citrus fruit with hints of yellow plum. The palate is crisp and focused, quite powerful with good weight and a slightly waxy texture toward the finish. Very fine." - Neal Martin (Dec 2017)

90-92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Antoine told me that the lower part of the vineyard, below where the cabotte is located, was hit by frost, so there is 20% less of the 2016 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrieres. Maybe I was just anticipating a little more complexity and mineralité on the nose of this wine, just losing a little nervosité because of the challenges of the growing season. The palate is quite powerful and intense with hints of peppermint infusing the citrus fruit on the entry that is slightly mellifluous in texture with a spicy, quite long finish. Not bad at all, although I might just have a preference for the 2015." - Neal Martin (Dec 2017)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2016 Meursault Village usually comes from three vineyards, although two were virtually entirely decimated by frost, and so this comes almost entirely from Les Chaumes. It has a delightful bouquet with dried honey and subtle hazelnut aromas that gradually unfold in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a brisk, well-defined entry, not a complex Meursault Village but nimble on its toes with a touch of spice on the short finish." - Neal Martin (Dec 2017)
