95 Points - James Suckling:
"Super wild and attractive, ripe strawberry aromas, leading to a super juicy and deep-set impression. The palate carries a lithe, juicy and very energetic array of super expressive fruit and a hint of savory complexity, just starting on the finish. Drink now." - (February 18, 2019)

"From one of the top districts of Morgon, this wine is well structured and offers rich fruits. A good mix of spice and black fruit is supported by tannins. It is a rich, juicy wine with an impressive future. Drink from 2019." - Roger Voss (3/1/2018)\

92 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Vivid ruby. Aromas of fresh dark berries, candied violet and smoky minerals pick up a hint of allspice with air. Sweet and nicely concentrated, offering juicy boysenberry and blackberry flavors and a touch of licorice. Finishes sappy and smooth, showing excellent persistence, lingering spiciness and dusty tannins that sneak in slowly." - Josh Raynolds (Mar 2018)

91 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Bright ruby-red. Lively, sharply focused red fruit and floral scents show excellent clarity and pick up a hint of smokiness as the wine opens up. Appealingly sweet and lithe in character, showing a seamless quality to the fresh raspberry, cherry and spicecake flavors. Gentle tannins shape a very long, incisive finish that strongly echoes the raspberry and spice notes. This is one serious "basic" Beaujolais for the money." - Josh Raynolds (Mar 2018)

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2014 Vintage):
"Bright magenta. Exotic, highly perfumed aromas of ripe dark berries, blood orange, potpourri and spicecake, given urgency by a mineral flourish. Juicy and sharply focused, offering concentrated black raspberry, cherry compote and violet pastille flavors and a touch of allspice on the back half. Finishes smooth, sweet and very long, with sneaky tannins adding structure and gentle grip to the wine's plush fruit." - Josh Raynolds (Aug 2016)

Allen Meadows' Burghound:
A moderately ripe nose of pepper and wild dark berries with warm earth traces leads to round, generous and reasonably complex flavors that are a bit on the grapey side, all wrapped in an acceptably long finish. This is easy to like and could already be enjoyed though it will reward a year or two of bottle age. Note that an hour of air helped considerably as there was noticeable gas upon opening the bottle. - (Apr 15, 2013)
