89 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2017 Vintage):
"Smoky mineral tones and a pleasantly waxy tinge lend elegance to exuberant grapefruit and lemon in this fresh, forward kabinett. It's approachably semisweet on the palate yet crisply balanced in acidity. The finish is thirst quenching and long, marked by a lacy veil of sugar on the tongue." - (4/1/2019)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"From a plot above and adjacent to the Prälat (so, the same soils and incline but different microclimates), the 2016 Erdener Treppchen Riesling GG Alte Reben is pure, fresh and flinty on the nose, beautifully precise and already mouthwatering. Piquant, fresh and very elegant on the palate, this is a dense, very mineral and salty Treppchen with a long and mouthwatering finish. Very long and tense, with great finesse and elegance. This has a beautifully crystalline character but more rich and lush compared to the Würzgarten." - Stephan Reinhardt (27th Apr 2018)

92 Points - James Suckling (2015 vintage):
"This has a blackcurrant note that is a little bit Sauvignon Blanc like, but nose is fragrant rather than overpowering. Medium-bodied and sleek, but the acidity is animating rather than dominant, and the flavors are cool and mineral right through the long finish." - 9September 9, 2016)

ZELTINGER SONNENUHR: is the Premier Grand Cru. Slate, lime, apple, butter-vanilla, rich, almost chewy earthiness, great depth. Some parcels are prized by locals as the best sites in the entire Bernkastel-Zeltingen ramp-DOKTOR notwithstanding! These wines are fullbodied. Selbachs are now the primo owners in this great site, and have inaugurated an era of elective harvesting and a quality potential such as we have never before seen.

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Very clear and subtle slate and floral aromas along with peach and orange flavors on the nose lead the feinherb 9.5% 2013 Josephshöfer Riesling Kabinett to a juicy and piquant, light-footed and lingering salty wine with a stimulating finish. This is surely one of the winner wines in the 2013 portfolio of the estate." - Stephan Reinhardt (Feb 2015)

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2014 Vintage):
"A curious whiff of lemon pastry entices on the nose of this sprightly wine. The palate is intensely ripe, bursting with sweet honeysuckle nectar and tangerine, yet it's almost lacy in texture, cut by a spray of green-apple acidity. It's delicious already, but sure to hold well for another decade." - Anna Lee C. Iijima (6/1/2016)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2016 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Spätlese is very clear and nicely reductive on the flinty and limey nose. Lush, round and very elegant on the palate, this is a beautifully mineral and complex Sonnenuhr with a long and intensely aromatic but always refined and refreshing mineral finish. This is a fabulous Spätlese from the Juffer." - Stephan Reinhardt (Apr 2018)

QBA stands for "Qualitätswein bestimmter Anbaugebiete", which means that the wine comes from one of the 13 designated wine regions. A beautiful wine with delicate perfumed aromas. Medium bodied, well balanced, filled with peaches and green apples, crisp and fresh acidity.  Ideal by itself or to complement a variety of meat and seafood dishes.

94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"From the very oldest plot of the cru next to the Rotlay, with more than 100-year-old ungrafted vines with extremely low yields--but highly aromatic berries that are as great as lentils--the 2014 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese feinherb Uralte Reben opens with a very deep, clear, concentrated and slightly flinty, highly complex bouquet with some herbal flavors. Round, piquant and highly elegant on the palate, with some nutty and almond flavors, this is a very noble and concentrated, perfectly balanced, lingeringly salty Riesling of great elegance and expression. This is world-class Mosel Riesling with an almost endless finish. It's rather smoothly textured, but in the finest way. A Must Buy of the 2014 vintage! Great aging potential. The old plot is named Kackert and was owned by the Freiherr von Schorlemer Estate for almost 100 years. It is one of the very best parcels in the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr and this wine shows why." - Stephan Reinhardt (Mar 2016)
