96 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Enticing from the first aromas of fresh cherry, violet and spice, this supple red is balanced and expressive. Matches an elegant frame with a firm backbone of tannins and lively acidity. Very persistent on the long, detailed aftertaste. Best from 2020 through 2036. 2,280 cases made." – BS (Web Only - 2017)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2010 Barolo Liste is utterly seductive and charming from start to long finish. This wine awards a high pleasure quota with the proverbial opulence and hedonistic plumpness that is not easy to achieve with the austere Nebbiolo grape. The Liste vineyard delivers the natural characteristics that are appropriate for dark and shapely wines. Thick extraction is followed by dark fruit, pressed blackberry, exotic spice, cola and balsam herb. It ages for two years in oak and two years in bottle, but it needs more time to lose its baby fat." -ML (6/2015)

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Damilano's 2011 Barolo Cannubi does a great job of presenting the specific qualities that are most commonly associated with this historic vineyard site. The wine shows elegance, grace and a feminine frame that is toned, lean and muscular. The Damilano family does not own land in Cannubi and in fact they rent their acreage for a monthly sum that must indeed be hefty. But Cannubi has grown in fame partly due to the dedicated efforts of this hardworking estate. The 2011 vintage shows warm tones of leather and tobacco with candied fruit, licorice, cola and dark blackberry. Sweet spice and delicate cinnamon appear on the long finish." -Monica Larner (Jun 2015)

91 Points - James Suckling:
"How can you not like the roses and berries and hints of soft dried mushrooms on the nose? Full and very silky body with refined tannins and nice cedar box and ripe berry finish. Will be drinking at its best in 2011." (Jan 2011)

93 Points & Cellar Selection - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2014 Vintage):
"The wine comes from a parcel that is less than an acre. Vines aged for 45 years on average have created a structured, concentrated wine with powerful tannins and dark, black fruits. It is a wine for serious aging, It's unlikely to be ready before 2020." - Roger Voss (12/31/2016)

"Below a rich surface of fruit there's a core of bright acidity and tannins. Aromas of boysenberry, mineral and tar open to layered flavors of smoky plum, cracked pepper and grilled herb. Ripe tannins frame the finish. Drink now through 2024. 257 cases made." – TF (Mar 31, 2016)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot, shows much sweeter tannins, a dense purple color, loads of crme de cassis and vanilla, a medium to full body, attractive opulence, purity and length. This is outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 12-15 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (30th Dec 2015)

Notes from the Winemaker:
The 2012 is the 2nd vintage of Cygnet, a wine designed to retain the fresh lushness of ripe Merlot grapes, yet exhibit the complexity and texture that only come with aging in small barrels. 2012 was a warm vintage, which is reflected in the depth of flavor and generous mouth feel of this wine. Deep purple-hued red color, and an array of black fruits more commonly associated with Cabernet lead to a mouthful of velvety, ripe tannins. Lingering notes of cocoa, clove and black cherry echo long after the wine is swallowed. Optimum suggested drinking is 2015 to 2018. - Chris Phelps, Winemaker

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The generic 2013 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast has a medium ruby color that belies very attractive strawberry and cherry fruit, is cleanly made without much evidence of oak, but has lushness and seductiveness as its primary attributes. Drink it over the next 2-3 years." RP Jr. (Mar 2016)

Winemaker's Notes
2014 was the most exciting vintage we have ever seen - bright, lifted aromatics; rich, dark colors; intense flavors and a depth and complexity that lingers on the palate. The growing season was easy, moderately warm and consistently dry all year- resulting in even and perfectly ripe little berries on small clusters. An early, warm Spring brought the grapes into bloom all at the same time- making the fruit reach maturity earlier and at the same time, compressing harvest. We could not be happier with the powerful structure, intense flavors and low alcohol-all in harmonious balance.
