Notes from the Winemaker:
Born from the vineyards of Bussia in Monforte d’Alba, recently purchased and directly managed by the Company to expand the Barolo crus range with specifics characteristics. The particular mineral component of the Bussia’s terroir gives at the wine a great structure, an intense color, clear and enveloping tannins and a long and consistent aftertaste. The scent of red fruits such as raspberry and pomegranate very ripes are well blended with spicy and balsamic notes.
A wine that is adapt at the long evolution in the bottle, up to 25-30 years and more in the best vintages.
The annual production is 7.000 bottles.

Tasting notes:
With an intense flavor, with gentle and enveloping tannins, the elegance of the Bussia does not give up body and structure.Alcohol content 14.50% vol. Acidity 5,78 g / l .

"The 2015 Barolo Bussia spreads out nice layers of dark fruit, with black cherry, plum and blackberry on a broad-shouldered wine. There is significant texture here with sweet, chewy tannins. This is a succulent Barolo, aged in neutral barrique. You could cellar it and see where it goes over the next few years, or open it in a few years with a medium rare steak.
