Press / Wine Critic's Reviews
Notes from the Winemaker:

The color is clear and delicate,
The nose fresh: a blend of exotic fruits with light spice flavors.
The palate is supple and elegant without being in breach of liveliness. Under his pale color, the Château Léoube rosé unveils a full complex wine.

The soil:
A mixture of schist and clay characterize Château Léoube soils. The proximity of the sea, the daily sea breeze and cool nights are all factors that provide an ideal climate for growing grapes. A particular situation that contributes to making wine out of common.

The blend: Grenache 40%, Cinsault 40%, Syrah 10%, Mourvèdre 10%.

To obtain a perfect sorting, harvesting is manual only. The grapes are transported directly to the winery where they are pressed directly. The juice extraction is slow and delicate. Fermentations, alcoholic and malolactic are made in stainless steel tanks. The bottling takes place in the spring after clarification.

Ratings & Reviews
90 Points & Editors Choice - Wine Enthusiast (2016 vintage):
"This is a stylish wine, fruity with red currants and herbs. It has a delicious crisp character as well as a salty tang, maybe from the nearby sea. The aftertaste is bright, packed with fruit. The wine is ready to drink." - Roger Voss (7/1/2017)

91 Points & Editors Choice - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2014 Vintage):
"This is a soft and ripe wine, full of rounded red berry fruits. The fruit is boosted by its acidity to give a fresh feel. The texture is soft, with a shot of pepper to add complexity at the end." - Roger Voss (7/1/2015)
