Tasting Notes
Becker produces some of Germany's finest Pinot Noir. This is due in large part to the chalky limestone soils that form the foundation of most of Becker's vineyards. Becker's Grosses Gewächs (from the upper section of the St. Paul vineyard) has been selected as the best Pinot Noir in Germany by Gault Millau (Germany'stop wine guide). Since Fritz Becker Jr joined the estate, Riesling and Pinot Blanc have improved, and today are world class examples. The estate works 69 acres and produces 12,000 cases per year. The vineyards are planted with 40% Pinot Noir, 22% Riesling, 11% Pinot Gris, 9% Pinot Blanc and 18% to other varietals.

Tasting Notes:

Chalk/Limestone soils produce this precise and flawless transparency of exotic guava, mango and pineapple intertwined with texturallyrich honeydew melon that melds with tangelo juice. Kaffir limeblossom and Elderflower create citrus tinged, mouth-coating power from start to finish. A riveting example of someof the finest, most affordablepristine Pinot Blanc available in the market!
