The 2010 Heritance Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is an assemblage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. It is deep ruby in color with very red undertones. The aromas are fresh and fruity showing more red fruit at the beginning, while blackberry fruit emerges as the wine breathes. The wine is beautifully fragrant, round, soft and graceful with a hint of spice, becoming increasingly more complex and complete as it opens up. The palate is smooth with plenty of fresh fruit up front giving way to a full and rich mouthfeel. With good structure and a solid core, it is very well balanced. The tannins are well integrated. The finish lingers as elements of spices, cherry, currant, tar and leather surface one after the other.

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"Densely delicious, this is earthy in a forest floor kind of way—it’s explosive in black cherry, plum and compelling, exotic spice. Medium bodied and lushly layered, it’s persistent on the palate, brooding in ripe fruit yet buoyed by ample acidity." — Virginie Boone (7/1/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
An old name in the Napa Valley seems to be in the process of being resurrected, this 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows plenty of blackcurrant, black raspberry fruit and a touch of subtle background oak in a user-friendly, medium to full-bodied style. It has plenty of depth, ripeness and some burgeoning complexity. This should drink well for at least a decade. (Oct. 2014)

Light and soft-bodied, the 2013 vintage offers a firm acidity balanced with a stark, steely flavor. Aromas are fresh and clean, evoking the scent of early morning after a first rain, with a hint of honeysuckle and underlying notes of tangerine and wet stone. The wine enters the palate with a crisp yet soft quality, flowing into flavors of flower blossom and ending with a mouthwatering finish of fresh-squeezed grapefruit. A long-lasting, zesty minerality leaves the sensation of both subtlety and brightness.

94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has a dense opaque purple color, a kiss of blackberry and cassis fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel with ripe tannin and a long finish. It is very Caymus in its immediate accessibility, but has plenty of staying power and depth. This is lush, full, intense and pure. Drink it over the next 15 or so years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 2016)
